Pepys Library Information for Researchers

Researchers wishing to access the Pepys Library are asked to get in touch with us well in advance of their visit.

The collection is carefully preserved and access is limited, prior arrangements are essential to ensure we can accommodate your request and provide the necessary support.

Researchers interested in accessing the Pepys Library must contact us in advance. Please provide details of your academic and research credentials, along with the specific items you wish to consult. Due to high demand, booking well in advance is advised.

Appointments are available:

• Monday to Friday
• 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

The Pepys Library is currently undergoing restoration. As a result, we are offering a limited service under alternative arrangements.
