Founded in 1428, Magdalene has nearly 600 years of academic tradition and a rich architectural heritage shaped over centuries.

Magdalene is a fantastic place to live and learn, known for its friendly atmosphere, strong academic support, and vibrant student life.

Llocated by the River Cam in central Cambridge, Magdalene admits around 100 undergraduates and 100 postgraduates annually, fostering a close-knit community. Students thrive academically and participate in a wide range of sports and activities.

Visitors are welcome year-round, except from mid-April to mid-June during exams. Please check in at the Porters' Lodge on arrival. The Pepys Library is under renovation and will reopen at the end of 2026.
