Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic
The Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic Tripos explores the languages, history and literature of Britain, Ireland and Scandinavia during the early medieval period.

Archaeology
Archaeology covers a huge range of topics, spanning the evolution of humans, the development of farming, ancient civilisations and world empires, as well as the role of material culture in our lives and of heritage in our society.

Architecture
Architecture combines the challenge of both arts and sciences with the opportunity for creative design. Design is at the core of architectural education at Cambridge and the Studio forms the major activity throughout the course.

Asian and Middle Eastern Studies
Architecture, by its nature, is a demanding subject. At Cambridge, however, students are encouraged to push their creative boundaries by acquiring a solid foundation of knowledge in the humanities (history and theory) and the sciences (construction, environmental design and structures).

Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology
Turning raw materials into useful products is key to challenges in energy, the environment and sustainability. Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology is now a four-year course, with direct entry replacing the previous route through other subjects.

Classics
Classics covers the history, culture, archaeology, art, philosophy and languages of the ancient world. Students may focus on one area or keep a broad approach. The course also explores how classical ideas have influenced Western culture to the present.

Computer Science

The joint degree in History and Modern Languages blends the strengths of both fields. Students develop near-native language skills while studying the culture and history of the relevant area, with some languages offering options in film and contemporary politics.

History and Politics
History and Politics at Cambridge is a joint Honours degree, combining subjects from the highly regarded History, Politics, and International Relations courses. It also offers creative papers that explore the intersections between these two disciplines.

History of Art
Cambridge is home to one of the greatest concentrations of world-class art collections in the UK outside London, with a wealth of stunning architecture from medieval to contemporary. This gives students the chance to engage directly with many of the buildings and objects they study.

Human, Social and Political Sciences
Human, Social, and Political Sciences at Cambridge offers a unique opportunity to explore modern humanity from various perspectives. The course covers politics, international relations, social anthropology, and sociology.

Land Economy
Land Economy is a multi-disciplinary social science degree that explores economics, business and law in relation to the environment. Its broad scope is highly relevant today, as law, economics and resource management shape daily life across the globe.

Law
Law at Cambridge explores analysis, interpretation, reasoning, ethics, liberty and power. The course enables students to study legal systems in their historical and social settings, while examining core principles and methods that shape how laws function.

Linguistics

Management Studies
Management Studies is offered as a one-year Part II course at the Cambridge Judge Business School. Undergraduate students can apply for it in their second or third year, adding business insight and practical skills to their main degree.

Theology, Religion, and Philosophy of Religion
Theology, Religion, and Philosophy of Religion at Cambridge allows students to study global religions alongside philosophy, ethics, history, literature, languages, sociology and classics. The course examines both contemporary and historical ideas, cultures and texts.

Veterinary Medicine
Veterinary Medicine at Cambridge lets you explore the science behind veterinary care before training in practice. You study core scientific foundations for 3 years, then spend 3 years as a clinical student applying your knowledge in real veterinary settings.
